Abstract

A type of clamp-band unlocking support was proposed to realize connecting and unlocking between satellite and camera, and shock environment of the support was studied. Structure of the support was presented, and the structural shock response was measured and analyzed. Transient analysis was conducted through finite element analysis(FEA) software. The experimental and computational data was converted to shock response spectrum(SRS) for comparison. The results of experiment and analysis indicate that the vibration generated by the release of strain energy dominates in the unlocking shock, and proper reducing preload of clamp band can lower the structural shock response, and the finite element analysis can estimate the low frequency shock environment with sufficient accuracy. These conclusion provide reference for the design of this kind of device and the preanalysis of shock environment.
