Abstract

For simplifying the computation of state vector’s first derivative, the select method of state vector is improved. When selecting state vector, it is on the basis of vibration equations but not boundary conditions. An association matrix is introduced to solve the equations. The improved transfer matrix method is explained by an example of circle cylindrical shell’s vibration equations, and the validity of this method is proved. The solving of a constrained damping shell by this method shows that the more complex of the equations, the more obvious of this method’s advantages.
