Abstract

Viscous dampers can only improve the damping of the structure without increasing the structural stiffness, stiffness matrix coefficients corresponding to the displacement components is zero in the state feedback gain matrix, because the LQR algorithm cannot be achieved , we introduce the optimal pole assignment algorithm of structures with supplemental viscous damping based on document 1. First, the mathematical model of the structures with supplemental viscous damping is established under the smaller earthquake and larger earthquake, the unified state space expression is established, the fact that pole-zero configuration influenced the system performance is analyzed by using the transfer function theoretical in the case of the external disturbance. Secondly, the pole-zero configuration algorithms is given in detail based on structures with supplemental viscous damping. Finally, pseudo excitation method of random vibration and the given pole assignment algorithm is used to analyses random response of the given engineering project, the results show that the proposed algorithm and analysis is validity and correctness.
