Abstract

Based on the study of impact resistance of double layered cylindrical shell structure, the mainly dimensionless independent variables of transient response of cylindrical shell structure under impact loadings are discussed in this paper though dimensional analysis. The dependency function relationships of maximum equivalent stress and strain of the shell structure were established by numerical simulation using the same material and maintain similar scaled cylindrical shell. The results provide to the cylindrical shell protective structure design and experimental scientific guidance direction and reliable reference.
