Abstract

In wavelet analysis, wavelet basis being used is neither arbitrary nor unique. Even for the same signal, using different wavelet function may cause different results. How to solve the problem of wavelet basis construction, addition and its application for blast vibration signal is always a problem puzzling the researchers. Based on the characteristics of short-duration and abrupt for blast vibration signal, through matching the pattern adapted from sub-signal based on separation from measured millisecond blast vibration signal, the wavelet basis with a high similarity of measured blast vibration signal can be constructed. Then blast vibration signal wavelet basis was added to the wavelet toolbox in MATLAB and used to identify the accurate positioning of the millisecond delay interval. The results showed that the pattern adapted continuous wavelet basis of blast vibration signal has useful application effect, and also provides important reference for blast vibration signal analysis being applied to practical use in engineering.
