Abstract

Considered dynamic stiffness and damping characteristics of angular contact ball bearing, a single DOF dynamic model of bearing which considered foundation responses was proposed to identify dynamic parameters in this paper; an experimental device for identifying dynamic parameters was developed to test and analyze the effects of radial and axial dynamic stiffness and damping under different load cases. Experimental results showed that with the axial load increased, the axial stiffness and the radial stiffness increased, the axial damping and the radial damping decreased and then increased; with the radial load increased, the axial stiffness and the radial stiffness increased, the axial damping and the radial damping increased and then decreased and then increased.
