Abstract

Based on the theory of the concentrated parameter,a dynamic analysis model was established for a 2-input cylindrical gear split-torque transmission system, in which the time-varying mesh stiffness, backlashes and damping were considered. Through solving of dynamic equation by the fourth Runge-Kutta method, the dynamic load sharing coefficients of the system were acquired. The results show that the load sharing coefficient of the split-torque stages increases with the backlash of single branch in split-torque stages, and decreases with increasing of the backlash of dual branch in split-torque stages; the backlash of single and dual branch in split-torque stages has very small impact on the load sharing coefficient of synthesized torque stages. The load sharing coefficient of the synthesized torque stages increases with the backlash of single branch in synthesized torque stages, and decreases with increasing of dual branch in synthesized torque stages; the backlash of single and dual branch in synthesized torque stages has very small impact on the load sharing coefficient of split-torque stages; The dynamic load coefficient increases with the backlash of dual branch.
