Abstract

Short-bearing oil film force model have been built in this paper. Rotor speed of bearing dynamics characteristics have been studied, which got the influence factor on eccentricity, the minimum film thickness, maximum film pressure, friction power, temperature, critical journal quality, stiffness coefficient, damping coefficient, 2D and 3D film pressure. There exists a critical rotor speed when analyze 3D film pressure. The maximum film pressure has great effect when rotor speed number is below the critical speed, and the maximum film pressure has little effect when rotor speed is higher than the critical speed.
