Abstract

The regenerative blower’s inner flow field is simulated by using a three-dimensional model, and the dynamic pressure of every blade can be attained. Then by the FW-H function calculation and with blades’ dynamic pressure as sound resource, far field aerodynamic noise caused by blades is obtained. And with blade’s dynamic pressure as excitation source, vibration noise radiated by blades is calculated. The change rule of blade’s far field aerodynamic noise and vibration noise is calculated and analyzed when blade thickness varies from one millimeter to four millimeters. The result is that the blades’ noise is mainly aerodynamic noise and structural noise can be dismissed through analysis.
