Abstract

Deeply research the Three-Variable Control (TVC) algorithm of seismic simulating shaking table, and study the correction action on the system characteristics of shaking table played by the three-variable feedback and three-variable feedforward step in detail. Through simulation and field test methods verify the improvement effect for system frequency response characteristics of seismic simulating shaking table taken by the TVC algorithm: expand the system bandwidth by introducing the velocity feedback of TVC; effectively increase the system damp by introducing the acceleration feedback of TVC; eliminate the system pole near to the imaginary axis of system closed-loop transfer function and further extend the system bandwidth by introducing the three-variable feedforward control. Finally, by conducting the seismic wave reproduction test on the three-variable controlled shaking table prove the TVC algorithm could achieve high-precision seismic wave reproduction test.
