Abstract

A scale 1/20 model of typical Y-shaped curved bridge was produced and studied under multi-dimensional shaking table test,numerical analysis model was established for experimental model,the seismic response characteristics of Y-shaped curve bridge under multi-dimensional excitation was studied.The results show that longitudinal acceleration response to the bridge、transverse relative displacement to bridge between two piers at branch straight beam and longitudinal bending moment at pier bottom is not associated with vertical seismic input,structural response is associated with seismic spectrum of input seismic and structure form;Maximum response of longitudinal acceleration to the bridge、transverse relative displacement to bridge between two piers at branch straight beam and longitudinal bending moment at pier bottom are appeared under unidirectional excitation;Longitudinal acceleration response to the bridge is lower under bidirectional excitation and three-dimensional excitation,and the degree of reduction decreases with an increasing of the angle between pier and straight beam;Initial gap width between main beam and branch straight beam is setted larger than main beam and branch curve beam.
