Dynamic model and optimization design method for spindle systems with high-speed ball bearings

Abstract

A calculation method of dynamic rigidity for angular contact ball bearings is put forward and realized, by which the action mechanisms of dynamic rigidity affected by preload of bearings and rotation speed can be effectively investigated. A dynamic model of high-speed spindle system is built on the basis of dynamic rigidity of high-speed bearings, and an integrated optimization design method of the work performance for high-speed spindle is given. The dynamic rigidity of bearing, spindle bearing configuration methods, working speed limiting factor, spindle structural parameters , the grinding process for flexible connector necking and demand on accuracy of high-speed spindle for that are comprehensively considered, key factors affecting the work performance of spindle and coupling are quickly analyzed, the weakness in the design plan for high-speed spindle is accurately identified, influent key factors and correspondent values are effectively designed in coordination，a foundation is laid to realize the aim of high performance of spindle system
