Abstract

Aiming at the large vibration problem of gas turbine rotor in the transition state, the analysis model of transient rotor dynamics was established. The thermal deformation of rotor was equivalent to the bending excitation force based on the analysis of rotor thermal deformation. The transient response characteristics of the rotor under the bending excitation force in the process of fast start-up, under thermal deformation and unbalanced coupling excitation, and the transient response characteristics of the rotor with thermal deformation decaying with the start-up process were analyzed. The research results provide a theoretical basis and foundation for the study of gas turbine rotor thermal induced vibration characteristics.
