Dynamic characteristics analysis of plough coal plow for contact-impact with clearance

Abstract

Horizontal clearance and vertical clearance between plow body and sliding framework were considered. Criterion condition of contact-impact between plow body and sliding framework were established by the collision detection method of the distance between a point and a line. The dynamic equation of three-freedom vibro-impact of plow body under clearance conditions was established by using the nonlinear elastic-damper contact force model, and the numerical analysis was carried out by using the method of Runge-Kutta. The results show that single-point two-point impact and three-point impact between plow body and sliding framework exist under clearance conditions. The maximum collision force between plow body and each contact point of sliding framework are increasing first and then decreasing with the increased vertical clearance，and are increasing with the increased horizontal clearance. The dynamic model of plough is simulated by RecurDyn. The result coincides with the theoretical analysis.
