Optimized sparse representation method of impact vibrations extraction

Abstract

Aiming at the problem of impact vibration signals extraction under the strong back-ground noise and other vibration interference, an optimized sparse representation method of impact vibrations based on basis pursuit is proposed. A sparse solution problem for extracting impact vibrations is built, and a transform basis for impact feature extraction is designed. Then the energy ratio of characteristic spectral lines in the whole frequency spectrum is proposed for evaluating the effect of impact feature extraction, and the impact vibration components can be optimally obtained with this evaluation index. The proposed method is applied to simulation test and gear fault diagnosis, and the results show that this approach can better extract the weak periodic impacts, so it has great practical value.
