In order to reduce the tripod vibration caused by gatling gun recoil and improve the fire density, a scheme of powder gas outflow through nozzle to achieve vibration suppression was carried out. The gas dynamic numerical model of gas force stabilization device was built based on gas dynamic equation of supersonic airflow and variable mass thermo dynamics interior ballistic equation, and the changes of stabilization force with installation position and gas port area was analyzed. Combined with the rigid-flexible coupling launch dynamic model of gatling gun system which installed gas force stabilization device, the control effect of gas stabilization force couple on vibration of gatling gun system was calculated. The results provide a new method for vibration control for gatling gun system.
