Noise Analysis Study Of Centrifugal Leaf Vacuum Based On Latin Hypercube Sampling

Abstract

To solve the problem of bi-objective optimization for aerodynamic noise and outlet flux, the method combined FEA with experiments are used to study the effect of noise reduction based on the centrifugal fan system of leaf vacuum as the research object. CFD technology is applied to simulation analyze the flow and acoustic field of leaf vacuum model first. Then the improvement plan which adds short blades to the long-blade impeller is proposed. Also, parameters of short blade are determined according to LHS and the optimum combination plan of long-short-blade impeller is proposed according to multi-parameters analysis,which further be determined and verified by the experiment. It can be demonstrated by the results that the joining of short blades can maintain the  performance of fan and reduces the noise by 1.2dB. The proposal of this plan not only can effectively reduce the noise, but also can provide a reasonable technology route for the noise analysis of general products. It also endowed with widespread engineering application and prospect.
