Abstract

In order to study penetration capability by shaped charge jet penetration into soil/concrete target, and characteristic of soil/concrete target under shaped charge penetration, propagation and attenuation of plastic wave, and reflection and transmission at the soil/concrete interface were considered. A theoretic model of shaped charge jet penetration into soil/concrete target was presented by analyzing influence of reflection wave and transmission wave when jet penetration into soil and concrete. The comparison experiments of jet penetration into concrete and soil/concrete target were performed. It is shown that penetration depth of soil/concrete target is lower than that of concrete under jet penetration owing to the influence of reflecting and transmission wave. In the action of reflection wave and transmission wave, the penetration velocity decreases which leading to the penetration depth of soil/concrete target reduce. Theoretic analysis is agreement with experimental result.
