Unbalance parameters identification for a sliding bearing-rotor system considering the uncertain parameters

Abstract

The bearing dynamic parameters is uncertain in the sliding bearing-rotor system. An unbalance parameters identification method considering the uncertain parameters is presented to identify the unbalance parameters of a sliding bearing-rotor system. In this method, firstly, considering the uncertain parameters in the sliding bearing conditions, an unbalance parameters identification method containing uncertain parameters (bearing dynamic parameters) can be transformed into two deterministic inverse problems through interval mathematics and the interval analysis method. Then, in the unbalance parameters identification problem of the sliding bearing-rotor system, the unbalance forces are expressed as the functions of time according that unbalance parameters acting on the sliding bearing-rotor system is the form of unbalanced force, and the forward model is established through the discretized convolution integral of unbalance forces and the corresponding transient response functions of the sliding bearing-rotor system. A regularization method is adopted to deal with the ill-posedness arising from the deconvolution and noisy responses, the upper and lower bounds of the unbalance parameters can be easily obtained through interval expanding operation. Finally, the efficiency and robustness of the proposed method are verified by a test rig.
