The cutting load analysis of hydraulic double-wheel trench cutter

Abstract

Hydraulic double-wheel trench cutter is the best underground excavation equipment today, and it will meet the diversity of the underlying soil in the process of the excavation, whose load fluctuations can bring difficulties in the process of machine designation and control. This study is based on the first domestic double-wheel trench cutter, and by designing the experiments process, extracting and analyzing the test data, comparing with the theory, draw the conclusion: The force of milling rock-soil appear periodic variation, and the periodic cycle is the time that milling wheel use in rotating a week, but affected by objective factor's randomness, the milling wheel's cutting force is random in a period; The milling wheel's force is determined by the strength of rock and soil, the milling wheel speed, the  milling wheel's forward and reversing orientation, the higher the strength of rock and soil, the bigger the cutting force, the greater the cutting force's volatility; The higher the milling wheel speed , the bigger the cutting force, the greater the volatility of cutting force; Under the same conditions, the milling wheel's force is greater in forward than in the reverse operation; By cutting force curve, the change cycle time of cutting force、 the size of the average cutting force、 the cutting force fluctuation degree can be calculated,  and these provide an accordance for electro-hydraulic control system.
