Abstract

Based on the concept of plane wave propagation, a diffuse acoustic field is developed for use along with a numerical model model, the model of sound transmission through stiffened plates excited by an acoustic diffuse field under static pressure is developed,And its effectiveness is strongly supported by close agreements between simulation results and experiment results of model in the literature . sound transmission through stiffened plates is also investigated, which consider the effect of static pressure. The results suggest that static pressure might results in a significant improvement in the transmission loss at low frequencies depending on the shift of resonant frequencies resulting from the pressure. When the pressure increases to a certain extent, the sound transmission loss is no longer increase. The analysis results might provide effective support for sound transmission through the actual structure with initial stresses.
