In order to research the behaviors of geogrids reinforced soil retaining wall with concrete-block panel under the traffic loads of high speed railway, and analyze the mechanism. A series of researches, including the deformation of wall face, the accelerated velocity, the dynamic soil pressure, the residual soil pressure and the tension strain of geogrids, have been done through the model test in laboratory. Test results showed that, the cumulative lateral displacement of wall face performed a distribution of single-peak, and the position of max-value was close to the top of wall. The vertical accelerated velocity was mainly impacted by load frequency and increased largely when the frequency turned to 8 Hz, and it was attenuated in reinforcement body. The dynamic soil pressure was mainly impacted by load amplitude and load cycle number and performed the trend of attenuation down the wall height, the attenuation rate of vertical dynamic soil pressure gradually increased and that of horizontal dynamic soil pressure gradually decreased. With the increase of load cycle number the residual soil pressure increased gradually, and it was a little bigger in the middle portion along the wall height. The cumulative strain of the geogrid decreased slightly with the increase of load cycle number, and performed the distribution of single-peak along the geogrid length. The horizontal distance from the position of peak to the wall foot gradually decreased down the wall height.
