Research on chaotic characteristics of Kaiser signal of metal acoustic emission

Abstract

After tensile test of metallic materials by repeated loading and unloading, Kaiser point is determined by multi parameters method. Analysis on the Kaiser point signals in metal mass by chaotic kinetics, including the correlation dimension and the Kolmogorov entropy, the results show that the Kaiser point signals have chaotic characteristics, and the correlation dimension and the Kolmogorov entropy values of the Kaiser point is lower than that in the first and the back of the time, the decline of the correlation dimension and the Kolmogorov entropy values of the Kaiser point means the occurrence of the main damage.
