Experiment and numerical simulation study on acceleration response laws of shallow-buried small spacing tunnel with asymmetrical pressure

Abstract

In order to obtain the dynamic response laws of shallow-buried small spacing tunnel with asymmetrical pressure under earthquake action. The combination method of shaking table test and numerical simulation was performed to study the acceleration response laws of the tunnel under the action of different acceleration excitation peak of Da Rui wave (DR-XZ).The effects of asymmetrical pressure and symmetrical pressure on the acceleration response of the shallow-buried small spacing tunnel were discussed. Research results show that in the horizontal direction of bidirectional loading wave, the acceleration response of the right half arch of the tunnel is mainly intense. In the vertical direction, the response of the arch crown and arch foot is stronger. Compared with the acceleration response of the tunnel in the horizontal direction of bidirectional loading wave, the acceleration response is more severe in the vertical direction. The excitation direction of seismic wave has great influence on the acceleration response of the tunnel. The tunnel acceleration response trend is affected by the thickness of overlying strata, middle rock wall and rock slope and so on. The difference between shaking table test and numerical simulation is in a reasonable error range, and the change trend is similar, which verifies the rationality of the shaking table test results and the reliability of numerical simulation results. Compared with the tunnel of asymmetrical pressure, the acceleration response regularity of the tunnel of symmetrical pressure is better. The asymmetrical pressure has significant effect on the acceleration response.
