Tests for vibration reduction model of joint fracture based on single-hole blasting

Abstract

Higher standards were proposed for Qingdao subway controlled blasting vibration possible hazards,in order to do blasting excavation for urban underground engineering under complex environ ment.The propagating laws of blasting vibration waves under rich fractured rock geological conditions were studied using the model tests.The test results indicated that the presence of rock fractures hinders the propagating of blasting vibration waves,the blasting vibration effect is reduced significantly; when explosive charge increases,the blast vibration effect is stronger,its trends becomes faster and the blasting vibration frequency is closer to the building natural frequency; the deeper the growth of fractukes’ depth,the weaker the blasting vibration effect; if the depth of fractures is too big,the reduction of the blasting vibration effect is not obvious; the growth of the fracture’s depth has a basically same effect with a very small fluctuation on the blasting vibration frequencies in all directions.The waveform spectrum analysis showed that the single-hole blasting signals have a simple waveform and their vibration peak and frequency are single.
