A study on the influence of tire air pressure on its interior noise

Abstract

Using a test car and their tires, the influence of tire pressure on the internal noise was studied by changing the tire pressure, the trend of the typical frequency band noise level of interior noise can be characterized by RMS value through frequency domain calculation.The test results show that with the increase of tire pressure, tire low frequency booming noise shows a decreasing trend on the rough road.The tire cavity noise shows an increasing trend.Pattern noise also shows an increasing trend on the smooth road. The relevant results were analyzed using relevant theories.
