Study on Derusting Mechanisms and Characteristics of Plate Surface by Flexible Cable Impact Contact

Abstract

The pretreatment of the plate surface is important to the quality and life of production., so this paper proposes a new method of surface derusting and surface strengthening for plate based impact contact of rope. Derusting mechanisms and working process are analyzed, and kinematics equation is established; A dynamics model of the rope using 6 dimensions spring flexible connection is built based on the discretization method，and the impact contact force model between the rope and the plate is introduced ．The variation rule of the velocity and contact force is obtained with dynamic simulation in Adams. Test machine is designed, the experiment show that; this derusting method is feasible and in good effect, derusting grade can reach to ST3, it has good application prospect in surface derusting and surface strengthening for small and medium size steel plate.
