Abstract

In order to analyze clutch abnormal noise of a MT vehicle during vehicle launch, NVH tests were done to get the noise spectrum characteristic and several related factors were discussed.Then,the clutch system CAE model was built and dynamic clutch engagement process was simulated as well as modal optimization of the driven plate.Based on analysis process, the deep cause of abnormal noise was researched.Finally, structure enhancement of the clutch driven plate was performed.Validation results show clutch buzzing noise disappear because of the enhanced clutch driven plate.
