Shearing action of anchorage interface of rock slope with soft layer under bidirectional coupled earthquake

Abstract

In order to study the shearing action on the bolt-grout interface and grout-rock interface of anchored rock slope under earthquake, a numerical model of anchored rock slope with weak layer was established by using FLAC3D software. The shearing action on the two interfaces of the slope anchored by full-length bonded bolts under the coupling action of horizontal and vertical seismic waves is thoroughly studied. The results show that the shear stress distribution on the two anchorage interfaces is very uneven. When the interface is in the stage of elastic deformation, the two peak shear stress is close to the neutral point. With the development of the debonding failure of the anchorage interface, the two peak shear stresses are continuously shifted to the two ends of the bolt. Bidirectional coupled seismic waves have especially significant effects on interfacial shear stress than unidirectional and bidirectional uncoupled seismic waves. It is more reasonable to consider the coupling effect of bidirectional seismic wave in the seismic design of anchored slope. The research results can provide reference for seismic design of anchored slope.
