Analysis on lateral stability of a vehicular dual-launch platform based on missile-carrying status

Abstract

The safety and stability of steering is the key issue for vehicular dual-launch platform.This thesis takes a vehicular dual-launch platform of the intermediate and long-range missiles as the research object and conducts an in-depth research on lateral stability. A rigid-flexible coupled dynamic model for stability analysis was established and a full-size vehicle test has been carried out. The numerical and experimental results are compared to verify the correctness of the model. The influences of different missile-carrying status on the lateral stability of the launch platform are analyzed and the safe cornering speeds for different missile-carrying status are given, which provides a theoretical reference for the system design and optimization of the vehicular dual-launch platform.
