Abstract

A finite element model for calculating the axial nonlinear characteristics of a wave plate was established, and the model was refined to improve the coincidence between simulation curve and test curve. The sensitivity of the structural parameters of the wave plate to its axial nonlinear characteristics was analyzed.Three main structural parameters, except thickness, were selected for optimizing the axial nonlinear characteristics of the wave plate.Based on the orthogonal test, the design space of the main structural parameters was obtained, the agent model of the system was constructed by the response surface method, and the agent model was solved by the genetic algorithm to obtain the optimal combination of the main structural parameters. The correctness of the optimum design method of wave plate structure parameters was verified by examples.
