Influence of turnout rail profile grinding on the dynamic characteristics of high speed trains

Abstract

Aiming at the innovative rail grinding scheme of Fuzhou Engineering Section used in the turnout area of hangzhou-shenzhen passenger dedicated line. A simulation model of vehicle-turnout was established with the theory of vehicle-turnout dynamic interaction on the basis of measuring the profile of the key section before and after grinded in the turnout area, and the dynamic response characteristics of the two working conditions before and after grinded were compared and analyzed in the case of the train passes through the turnout in a straight direction at a speed of 250km/h. It was shown that the derailment coefficient and the lateral wheel-rail force amplitude of the right wheel in the first round reduced by 27.7% and 27.4%, respectively; the amplitude of lateral vibration acceleration and transverse movement of the vehicle body decreased by 56.8% and 47.7% , respectively. the dynamic characteristics of the train passing through the turnouts have been improved obviously after rail grinded. The detection results of vehicle wobble meter and moving inspection vehicle displayed that after rail grinded, the quality of line equipment is significantly improved, and the lateral acceleration of the train body is obviously reduced; The experience of rail grinding shows that rail grinding is an effective means to improve the contact relationship of wheel-rail and improve the operation quality of emu in switch; The theoretical research results verifies the rationality of the rail grinded scheme that adopted by Fuzhou Engineering Section in the turnout area, and provides some theoretical support for the optimization and grinding of rail profile in the turnout area of high-speed railway.
