A study on crack propagation and stress wave propagation in different blasting modes of shaped energy blasting

Abstract

In order to study the propagation of stress wave and crack evolution in biaxial energy accumulation blasting, the propagation form and crack propagation law of stress wave in single hole blasting, continuous hole blasting, and deep hole blasting were studied by theoretical analysis and numerical simulation.The results show that the crack propagation length of continuous hole energy accumulation blasting and deep hole energy accumulation blasting is 900 mm in horizontal radius, while that of single hole energy accumulation blasting is only 600 mm, which indicates that the superposition of stress wave increases the tangential tensile stress, and the energy accumulation direction forms cracks is parallel to the hole center line, and the crack extends until it runs through.With the propagation of stress wave in deep hole blasting crack, the tip tension stress zone is also moving forward, promoting the crack to continue to develop until it runs through.This study provides an effective and real reference for rock forming blasting and has a broad application prospect.
