Simulation analysis of hydraulic characteristics of pipeline vehicle vibration migration based on Fluent

Abstract

Here, to analyze hydraulic characteristics of pipeline flow field when pipeline vehicle vibrates and moves, the software Fluent was used to simultaneously solve structural response of the pipeline vehicle and characteristics of the pipeline flow field.Reynolds time average momentum equations were used to calculate the pipeline flow field, and structural dynamic equations were used to calculate structural response of the pipeline vehicle.The results showed that it is feasible to analyze hydraulic characteristics of vibration migration of pipeline vehicle in straight pipeline by using fluid-structure interaction numerical simulation analysis; the translational velocity of the pipeline vehicle fluctuates irregularly within a very small range in straight pipeline, so the motion of the pipeline vehicle can be regarded as vibration migration; with increase in diameter ratio of the pipeline vehicle, the pipeline average pressure drop coefficient firstly decreases and then increases, while the mechanical efficiency of the pipeline vehicle firstly increases and then decreases; the study can have important reference value for mastering variation laws of flow velocity and pressure during vibration migration of pipeline vehicle.
