Floating slab geometrically nonlinear vibration isolator based on SD oscillator theor

Abstract

Based on the geometrically nonlinear theory of smooth and discontinuous (SD) oscillator, according to the actual load conditions and vibration isolation requirements of urban rail transit, nonlinear stiffness curve of steel spring floating slab isolator and dynamic performance of floating slab rail system were optimized to develop a geometrically nonlinear isolator for floating slab, it has both good low-frequency vibration isolation performance and vibration displacement control ability. Here, theoretical analysis, structural parametric design, simulation analysis and test verification of the nonlinear vibration isolator were conducted. The results showed that the nonlinear vibration isolator has better control ability and low-frequency vibration isolation effect on vibration displacement of floating slab; the single vibration isolator tests reveal compared with the traditional steel spring vibration isolator, vibration displacement of rear floating slab of the nonlinear vibration isolator can be reduced by more than 40%; at frequencies of 4 Hz, 6 Hz, 8 Hz, 11 Hz, 15 Hz and 20 Hz, vibration attenuation values of the isolator’s bearing reaction force are 3.25%, 15.47%, 18.77%, 25.18%, 31.27% and 37.60%, respectively.
