Dynamic balancing characteristics of an inertia cone crusher

Abstract

The rock and inertia force of inertia cone crusher can cause coupling vibration of shell, spindle and other components and affect the performance and service life of the crusher. A new type of inertia cone crusher with complete dynamic balance and greater crushing force is designed based on the inverse double excitation principle. Based on the coupled model of multi-body dynamics and discrete element method, a system analysis method of the dynamic balance crusher dynamics simulation and tested verification is proposed. The comparison between simulation analysis and prototype test shows that the coupling model is effective and the new crusher has better vibration reduction and crushing force gain effect. The influence of the mass of the fixed cone and the moving cone on the vibration and crushing force is studied. The results show that the inverse dynamic balance inertia cone crusher can reduce the weight of fixed cone by 59% and that of vibration mechanism such as dynamic cone by 24%.
