Noise reduction method of motor based on negative magnetostrictive effect

Abstract

One of the most important problems in the design of the motor is that the volume effect of the stator and the vibration of the motor are caused by the silicon steel. Aiming at the problem of vibration and noise caused by magnetostrictive effect of silicon steel sheet, this paper proposes a method to suppress the vibration noise of motor by filling soft magnetic composite material with negative magnetostrictive property, so that the negative magnetostriction of the material to be filled and the deformation caused by the positive magnetostrictive effect of silicon steel sheet can basically offset each other, so as to reduce the vibration noise of the motor. In this paper, the electromagnetic mechanical coupling numerical model of the motor is established, and the finite element simulation calculation is carried out. The vibration of the stator silicon steel sheet is analyzed by traversal scanning method, and the appropriate filling position and size of the filling material are found, and the model is made for verification. In the simulation and verification experiments, the negative magnetostrictive material nickel is used as the filling material. It is found that the local stress decreases 16% after the negative magnetostrictive material is filled in the silicon steel sheet of the motor stator, which reduces the overall vibration and noise of the motor. This paper has important theoretical significance and application value for low noise motor design
