Restoring force model of corroded stirrup concrete columns reinforced with epiboly profiled steel

Abstract

In order to study the restoring force model of concrete columns corroded by stirrups after conglutinated steel reinforcement, nine concrete columns with different stirrup corrosion rates and volumetric stirrup ratios were subjected to electrified corrosion, reinforcement after completion of corrosion, and then the low-cycle reciprocating load test was carried out. Secondly, the skeleton curve and hysteresis curve of each test specimen were analyzed. On the basis of calculating the characteristic parameters of the restoring force model of the intact specimen, the data were fitted and regressed. Finally, degenerate trilinear restoring force model of stirrup corroded concrete column after conglutinated steel reinforcement was given, and the calculation formula of characteristic parameters under different factors was proposed. The results show that the seismic performance indexes of corroded stirrup columns strengthened by conglutinated steel are significantly improved, and the failure characteristic points are obviously lagging behind the intact specimens, and the shear failure is the main failure mode. Through the comparative analysis, the obtained model is in good agreement with the experimental results, which can well reflect the hysteretic characteristics of the conglutinated steel reinforced column and provide reference for the calculation of the restoring force model of such column.
