Abstract:Due to the disturbance of ground adjacent building to the site, the seismic response of underground structure in the site will vary. So the non-linear interaction finite element models are set up, which are composed of buildings, soil and underground structures. A hysteretic nonlinear soil constitutive model has been used for the analysis. The interaction finite element models take into account the contact surface characteristics of the structure and soil and the impact of foundation infinite domain. The models are analyzed by time domain numerical method. The results showed that displacement response and force response of underground station structure were significantly amplified, due to the existence of ground adjacent building. Additionally, there is a comparative study of influence factors which affect the seismic response of underground structures. In the paper, the influence factors include natural periods of adjacent building and relative position of ground buildings and underground structures. Some useful conclusions are obtained through analysis, which benefit engineering designs.
